Budgie 1.6 was offered on Tucows and Download.com in August 2003 as a Freeware product. Since then there have been over 17,000 downloads. Thanks to all of you that looked at the program.
We announced Budgie2004 in February this year as a pay-for upgrade. Many of you have downloaded this time-limited shareware product but very few of you have registered it. In fact only one of you has! Meanwhile we have been paying $xx a month for excessive bandwidth on this site so we have decided to pull the product from the download sites and eliminate the downloads from this site and its sister sites. We will continue to support the freeware product but it will no longer be available for download.
